At the age of 25, Hsiao-Ting conspired with her twin sister to start a dance adventure with no return. During the seven years in New York, she enjoyed her life with non-stop creation/choreography, work, cooperation with artists, performances and residency.
Hsiao-Ting moved back in Taiwan with a new identity in 2015. She re-discovered the changing environment that was familiar in her memory. Recently, her works focus on the relationship between the performing arts and the environment, attempting to use a more gentle and humble attitude to connect people, landscape, history, architecture, climate, and community.
